Jesus came so we’d have life, and have it more abundantly.
This is God’s will for us – how He intends for us to know life.
SO WHAT DOES ABUNDANT LIFE LOOK LIKE?
Imagine life lived daily and continually in the showers of God’s blessings – and not just the mercy drops that help you just barely get by.
When God supplies, He supplies according to His riches in glory….
Now then, there’s that question:
How rich is God?
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. Psalms 50:10-11.
It is God’s will for you to have life, and to have it more abundantly.
But then there’s that thief that comes to steal, to kill and to destroy.
The mission of the thief notwithstanding, I truly believe that you too can live beyond the sphere of barely existing and just getting by.
Put God to the test and see if He’s not faithful and able to do what He has said He would do.
IT’S ALL BY CHRIST JESUS
Looking at that scripture again in Philippians 4:19, we see that God supplies every need according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus.
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19.
Jesus is still the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Are you tired of the meager existence prevalent in these spheres today?
Would you have life, and have it more abundantly?
Remember then, that Jesus is all you need to reach that purpose.
And only those who know their God would be strong and do exploits.
So if you know Him already – if you already found the way – prove Him by your obedience and commitment to His perfect will.
Jesus is still turning water into wine;
Ordinary to extraordinary.
And barely-there to abundance.
Would you put your faith in Him today, and trust Him to fulfil His promises?
