Don’t Judge Yourself

Have you ever judged yourself and compared yourself to other and their accomplishments?

I have and still do. In fact, some days I compare my blogs to other blogs, I compare my house, my car, my accomplishments, my marriage, my kids, my body, my clothes, and my life!

Oh, I shout STOP!!!! Change that thought!!!

I will not believe this lie. Lies all Lies and that is what the enemy wants us to believe so he can defeat us. I will not be defeated for I have a great and awesome GOD. Most of my life I felt less then, inadequate, not smart enough, not pretty enough. NOT ENOUGH!

God says we are enough, and he loves us no matter what. We are worthy to be loved and forgiven. He doesn’t judge us or love us because of what we have or what we’ve accomplished; he loves us for who he created us to be. Did you know when we doubt who we are in Christ we doubt the beautiful creation he created, and that dishonors him?

Don't Judge yourself

Yes, there were choices in my life that lead me to turn from God and not follow his path for me, but he loved me so and brought me back to the path of righteousness. Today I thank him for allowing me that adventure, the heartache, the abuse, the rejection, the abandonment for I would not be who I am today. A beautiful child of God. I would not be able to share and write to you that with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26)

So today if you are reading this and struggling, take a stand and Shout! Stop! I will not be defeated! I will not listen to the lies!

So don’t judge yourself or your circumstances. Don’t compare what others have accomplished to you. We are all on our own beautiful journeys. We all have different God-given talents and gifts. Some bigger than others but when you let your God light shine then you are making a difference and in God’s eyes that’s big!

Pray and ask God today what you can do to make a difference or be a blessing to someone? Maybe it’s as simple as a smile, a compliment, a word of encouragement, or a phone call rather then a text. Whatever it is shine your God light on someone today!
