They had sent for Jesus.
There was trouble they needed help with; they needed to be saved.
And He came – four days after their brother was dead.
But Jesus was there.
The Resurrection and the Life was there – if only they knew, they would have stopped mourning, and started rejoicing because the situation, from the beginning, had been for the glory of God.
…that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. John 11:4.
If you can believe…
There is nothing that God cannot do for you – if you can believe.
If you can believe…
It’s not just something we hear in Church; it’s more than just what we’ve always been told.
If you can believe…
all things are possible to him that believeth. Mark 9:23.
Jesus is here, even now.
The Resurrection and the Life is here, even now.
Now is the acceptable time.
Today is the day of salvation.
If you can believe…
There’s no situation He cannot help you with.
Lazarus was already dead.
Your present situation can indeed be for the glory of God – if you can believe, and let God glorify Himself.
Jesus is waiting for you today.
Let go of the reins and see if you don’t experience the power of God.
Put Him to test and see if you don’t experience the Resurrection and the Life.
All that is required of you is just to believe.
So just believe – taste and see that the Lord is good.
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him. Psalm 34:8
