Once we have accepted and published a guest post on our site, the author will no longer have the ability to make changes or remove the post. This includes changes to the content, images, links, authorship byline, or technical changes that directly impact SEO or other search engine processes. The primary reason we do not allow changes to content after it has been published is that due to the nature of search engine algorithms, making updates to a piece of content could have potentially negative effects on the entire site. Guest post authors are able to include up to (1) link to a monetization platform that they control. Here are examples of acceptable monetization links:
To maintain quality control standards we prohibit the following methods of monetization within a guest post:
We may decide to promote your guest post on our social accounts including Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, or other social media platforms. We encourage you to promote it as well to your followers and link to the article from your own personal blog; however, do not repost your full article because this could cause our site and yours to be penalized by Search Engines due to duplicate content.
At our discretion, our in-house video marketing team may decide to transcribe your article, whole or in part, into a video and promote on our social media accounts including YouTube. This will include editing the post content to fit a production-quality video format. By submitting a guest post, you grant us exclusive worldwide ownership rights, intellectual property rights, and distribution rights to promote this video content on our marketing channels.
On the weeks and months after your guest post is published, we encourage you to continually visit the article to check for comments and interact with your readers. Doing this helps keeps readers engaged and increase the overall audience engagement of the post. In addition, write for our Christian blog in the future as you have new stories to tell.
